In this position, you will be responsible for greeting and checking patients in and out of the clinic, whether in-person or over the phone. Your duties will include scheduling patient appointments, collecting client payment information, filing, and performing other front desk tasks. You will maintain the schedules of clinical staff, enter and verify client data, and collect copayments. Additionally, you will provide technology support for telehealth appointments and answer multi-line phones. Registration of clients in the electronic medical record is also a key responsibility, along with delivering excellent customer service to promote a supportive environment for individuals in need of behavioral health and co-occurring services that are recovery-focused. You will be expected to research and verify insurance benefits and have knowledge to apply for alternative payer sources. Preparing and scanning documents for internal Health Information Management (HIM) will also be part of your role. Cross-training and performing duties to cover neighboring locations may be required as well. This position is essential in ensuring that our clients receive the best possible care and support during their visits to our clinic.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate via written, verbal, in-person, and virtual methods.
