About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our members and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in office management tasks. Familiarity with medical coding, health information management, and electronic health record systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and maintain the appointment calendar.
  • Perform clerical duties including filing, data entry, and documentation review.
  • Assist with medical coding using ICD-10 codes as necessary.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide support for office management tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate effective communication regarding patient needs.
  • Handle patient inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Support bilingual communication needs when applicable.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a front desk or receptionist role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and medical terminology is a plus.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
