As a Service Technician, you will perform annual inspections and complete service and repair work for healthcare facilities throughout the country. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with mechanical ability and a willingness to help us make our customers happy on a daily basis. From day one, you will have the opportunity to influence the safety of patients and hospitals across the country. Your responsibilities will include inspecting, testing, and making repairs to medical piped gas systems, maintaining customer databases, performing environmental monitoring services, identifying opportunities for repairs and upgrades, completing service reports, and communicating with customers to present test results and recommendations. You will also partner with local sales representatives to maintain client relationships and demonstrate technical aptitude by providing excellent service and obtaining professional credentials. Safety training and maintaining safe work practices are essential components of this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to three years of stable work history
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Google Drive
  • Must have mechanical ability and be able to repair and fix items with your hands
  • Must be able to obtain professional certifications as needed, including ASSE credentials (CHT provides paid training for ASSE certifications)
  • Must possess and maintain a safe driving record and current state-issued driver's license
  • Must be able to pass multiple background checks, motor vehicle records checks, and drug tests as required by our clients
  • Must have valid COVID Vaccination Documentation / COVID booster documentation if required by CDC mandate
  • Negative TB tests record required upon hire
  • Annual flu shot required, and any vaccines or tests required by our customers
  • Ability to maintain a company iPhone
  • Ability to maintain a company credit card and expense reports
  • Ability to maintain company vehicle and equipment
