We have an amazing opportunity in Maitland, FL for a Bilingual Medical Receptionist who enjoys working with an upbeat team of professionals that are truly dedicated to creating a quality patient care experience. This is a dynamic workplace, and the right candidate will provide important support to the organization's mission statement as well as presenting a professional face for the company to the diverse patients passing through the front doors daily. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of interaction patients have with our office, making you the Ambassador of First Impressions. This role requires clear communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure that patients feel welcomed and valued. Our office is state-of-the-art, and you will need to be comfortable with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for easy scheduling of patient appointments, entering new patient demographics, verifying medical insurance coverage, and processing prior authorizations/referrals. In addition to these responsibilities, you will be expected to provide excellent customer service both on the phone and in person. Greeting all patients in a way that creates a welcoming environment is essential as they enter the office. You will also perform basic office and clerical tasks, including data entry and the use of office equipment such as fax machines, scanners, copiers, and printers.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing a welcoming environment.
  • Manage scheduling of patient appointments using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • Enter new patient demographics and verify medical insurance coverage.
  • Process prior authorizations and referrals as needed.
  • Perform basic office and clerical tasks including data entry and use of office equipment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma is required.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Medical/Healthcare Receptionist.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
