About the position
The Medical ICU Nurse at Brigham and Women's Hospital is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. This part-time position involves working night shifts and rotating weekends, emphasizing collaboration and teamwork among healthcare professionals to ensure patient-centered care in a safe environment. Responsibilities
- Providing care for patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit.
- Working collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.
- Minimum 2 years current nursing experience in Intensive Care Unit/ICU required.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing for newly licensed nurses.
- ACLS certification preferred.
- CCRN certification preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Membership in professional organizations is recommended.
- Certification in a specialty area is encouraged.
