About the position
The Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at Cleveland Clinic's Fairview Hospital involves providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the MICU.
- Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients' conditions.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
- Educate patients and their families.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- One year of current acute care RN experience.
