Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and timely patient test results for diagnosis and management of illnesses.
  • Utilize automation and computerization, as well as manual methods, in laboratory testing.
  • Ensure quality control and proper maintenance of laboratory instruments.
  • Troubleshoot instrument issues as they arise.
  • Handle various biological specimens, including blood, tissue, fecal matter, sputum, urine, and spinal fluid.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Required).
  • Registered by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP).
  • AMT Certification is considered equivalent to ASCP.
  • Experience in an automated clinical laboratory.
  • Superior customer service skills.
