Responsibilities

• Maintain certification status as required by the certifying agency.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Associates degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field from an accredited institution.
• ASCP Certification or equivalent certification by a nationally recognized board/agency as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
• Registry eligible and must become certified by ASCP within the first year of employment if not certified at the time of hire.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification by ASCP as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
• One year of laboratory experience.
