Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents and correspondence.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
  • Manage case files and maintain organized records.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal matters.
  • Schedule appointments and manage attorney calendars.
  • Prepare for court hearings and trials by organizing exhibits and evidence.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal in a law firm setting.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with case management software.
  • Knowledge of specific areas of law relevant to the firm's practice.
  • Certification from a recognized paralegal program.
