San Joaquin Valley College (SJVC) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Medical Office Administrative Faculty member for our Bakersfield campus. Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the teaching and learning process in the classroom.
  • Ensure student learning and mastery of course, program, and institutional learning outcomes.
  • Engage students through hands-on training and interactive instruction.
  • Provide guidance and support to students in their educational journey.
  • Collaborate with the Academic Dean, Program Director, and Division Manager to deliver high-quality education.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in a relevant field.
  • 3 years of experience in the medical field.
  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
  • Licensed Vocational or Registered Nurse with Medical Assistant experience may be considered.
  • Knowledge of back-office skills required.
  • Certified, Registered, or Licensed Phlebotomy Technician preferred.
  • BLS Provider certification (AHA preferred).

Nice-to-haves

  • Teaching experience is preferred but not required if the candidate is an expert in the field.
