About the position

At Hagen Beyer Simon ENT, we are seeking a skilled Medical Office Bookkeeper to join our team. This full-time position is essential for managing the financial operations of our medical office. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of financial duties, including recording financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and processing payroll. We are looking for a detail-oriented team player who is eager to contribute to our company's success and help us maintain our financial integrity. In this role, you will be tasked with recording all day-to-day financial transactions and reconciling all bank accounts to ensure accuracy. You will monitor financial transactions closely and prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management as needed. Additionally, you will handle accounts receivable and payable, process all checks, manage payroll, and ensure compliance with sales tax regulations. You will also be responsible for renewing occupational licenses as required. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of essential accounting software and be familiar with spreadsheets, formulas, and data analysis tools. A general understanding of key accounting principles, such as accruals and revenue, is necessary. Strong attention to detail and accuracy is crucial, along with effective verbal and written communication skills. You should be capable of spotting and resolving discrepancies and have knowledge of relevant tax requirements to prepare basic tax documentation.
