We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of medical office management, ensuring that our clinic runs smoothly and efficiently. This role is crucial in maintaining high standards of patient care while managing administrative tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the medical office, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Oversee staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to maintain a productive work environment.
  • Implement and manage budgeting processes to ensure financial health of the clinic.
  • Coordinate patient care activities, including appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups.
  • Utilize medical office software such as Dentrix, Epic, or Eaglesoft for efficient record management and billing processes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Develop policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and improve patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure quality care delivery in critical care settings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in healthcare management or medical office management, preferably in a dental clinic or similar setting.
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills to oversee clinic operations effectively.
  • Familiarity with medical software systems such as Dentrix, Epic, or Eaglesoft is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.
  • Knowledge of critical care practices is a plus; experience as a nurse is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.
