In this role, you will ensure a superior patient experience and support the clinical team administratively. From the moment each visitor arrives and throughout their entire visit, you will provide a VIP-level experience. The responsibilities of the Medical Office Receptionist include a superior understanding of high-profile client needs and preferences, maintaining a polished and professional appearance and manner, and consistently providing an extremely high level of service at all times. You will need to have a solid understanding of insurance plans and the ability to confirm patients' benefits and eligibility. Additionally, you will be responsible for calculating and collecting payments such as co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance. The role requires the ability to quickly analyze situations, come up with solutions, and implement them effectively. You will also schedule appointments and manage clinician schedules while being computer and internet savvy. Stellar communication skills, both in writing and verbally, are essential for this position.

Requirements

  • 2 years minimum experience in a hospitality or customer service-driven environment.
  • Thorough understanding of computer and internet applications including Microsoft Office Suite, Chrome and Firefox browsers, and other cloud-based applications.
