About the position

Join our team as a Medical Receptionist where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical clinic. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to contribute to the efficient functioning of our clinic. Your responsibilities will include greeting and checking in patients in a friendly and professional manner, scheduling and managing patient appointments efficiently, and maintaining and updating medical records to ensure the accuracy of patient information. You will also coordinate with medical staff to facilitate patient care and handle front desk duties including answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and managing patient flow. Additionally, you will process insurance information, verify coverage, assist with billing tasks, and maintain financial records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies. Keeping the reception area organized and presentable will also be part of your duties.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a medical receptionist role or similar position
  • Proficiency in medical administrative support systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar software
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Familiarity with clinic operations and front desk responsibilities
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Nice-to-haves

  • Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
