The Medical Receptionist Level 3 at Dermatology Associates of KY plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient clinical encounter for patients. The primary responsibilities include greeting patients upon arrival, performing registration duties, and expediting the check-in process. The receptionist is also responsible for scheduling appointments, managing telephone triage, and maintaining the electronic health record (EHR) work-list. Additionally, the role involves preparing and maintaining patient charts, filing documents, and rooming patients for their appointments. The Medical Receptionist will also coordinate surgery scheduling and handle pre-authorization and pre-certification processes as needed. In this position, maintaining positive relationships with patients, their family members, and fellow employees is paramount. The Medical Receptionist must provide clinical, technical, and clerical support associated with scheduling procedures within the clinic and coordinating off-site procedures.   • Medical office experience preferred.
  • Computer skills and experience are necessary.
  • Valid CPR certification.
