The Medical Receptionist Level 3 position at Lexington Clinic is a full-time role focused on providing comprehensive support within the Orthopedics-Sports Medicine department. This position is integral to the clinical encounter, performing a variety of tasks that enhance patient experience and streamline clinic operations. Responsibilities include greeting patients upon arrival, managing registration duties, and expediting the check-in process. The Medical Receptionist will also be responsible for scheduling appointments, conducting telephone triage, and maintaining electronic health records (EHR) work-lists. Additionally, the role involves preparing and maintaining patient charts, filing documents, and rooming patients for their appointments. The Medical Receptionist will coordinate surgery scheduling and handle pre-authorization and pre-certification processes, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner. This position requires maintaining positive relationships with patients, their families, and other visitors, as well as collaborating effectively with fellow employees. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and will be able to maintain composure in fast-paced and stressful situations. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • CPR Certification.
