In this position, the Medical Receptionist will greet patients and visitors promptly and courteously, making them feel welcome and important. They will assist patients with the sign-in process, respond to their needs, and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately. The Medical Receptionist will also manage the patient check-in and check-out processes, verifying insurance information, collecting copayments, and scheduling future appointments. Additionally, they will monitor office supply inventory, manage financial responsibilities, and maintain an efficient filing and record-keeping system. The Medical Receptionist must be adaptable, willing to travel to various locations within a 30-minute radius, and able to work additional hours as needed to ensure adequate coverage for the practice.
