About the position

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist for our Aberdeen Medical Clinic. This part-time position is essential in ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of service and care. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for processing patient information, scheduling medical appointments, and communicating with patients via phone. This role requires a candidate who can handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a professional demeanor. The ideal candidate will possess problem-solving skills and be sensitive to the needs of our diverse patient population. The Medical Receptionist will also be required to occasionally travel to and work at the Elma Medical Clinic, which adds a layer of flexibility and adaptability to the role. Responsibilities

• Process patient information accurately and efficiently.
• Schedule medical appointments for patients.

• Multi-task effectively in a busy medical office environment.
• Utilize basic office software to manage patient records and appointments.

Requirements

• Minimum one-year experience in a medical setting.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Proficient in Windows, Word, Excel, and typing skills are required.
• Excellent verbal, customer service, and written communication skills necessary.
• Strong organizational skills are a must.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish required.
