About the position

CPAPnow Inc. is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist to join our team in Meridian, ID. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, managing patient records, and facilitating the ordering and delivery of CPAP supplies. This role is crucial in ensuring patient satisfaction and maintaining the efficiency of our medical office operations.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and interact with walk-in customers while providing quality customer service.
• Create sales orders for patient supplies.
• Maintain customer records by updating account information, including insurance changes.
• Receive and respond to patient requests for CPAP supplies, including insurance verification and confirmation of specific supplies needed.
• Arrange for CPAP supplies to be shipped or picked up in the office.
• Keep patient appointments on schedule by notifying the therapist of patients' arrivals and the completion of new patient paperwork.
• Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal information.
• Develop and maintain a working knowledge of all CPAP products.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Computer literacy is required.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and effectively communicate them to patients.
• Valid driver's license is necessary.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
