This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend or late evening shifts required. The Medical Receptionist plays a crucial role as the first and last point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. This position is customer service-oriented and involves a variety of administrative tasks that support both the medical staff and the overall patient experience. In this role, the Medical Receptionist will be responsible for greeting patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner, preparing patient charts, and managing the scheduling of appointments. The receptionist will also handle payment requests and answer telephone inquiries, all while maintaining strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. The ability to communicate effectively with patients, medical support staff, and physicians is essential for ensuring continuity of high-quality patient care.
