As a Medical Receptionist at ConvenientMD, you will play a crucial role in the patient experience by being the first point of contact for patients and visitors at our clinics. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting patients warmly, completing patient registrations, updating patient records, collecting payments, and ensuring that all patients, whether they have appointments or walk-ins, are seen promptly. You will proactively manage patient balances and ensure timely payments. You will manage patient reservations, assist in scheduling specialist referrals, and navigate multiple software systems to follow established protocols. As the front desk manager, you will answer and direct phone calls professionally, maintain an organized reception area, and perform various administrative duties such as photocopying and filing. Familiarity with the services offered at ConvenientMD and the associated costs will be necessary, as you will need to navigate various software systems for scheduling and electronic medical records. This position requires flexibility in working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and may involve travel to other ConvenientMD locations for training shifts.
