Doctoroo is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join their innovative team focused on delivering exceptional healthcare services directly to patients' homes. This full-time position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at providing top-quality patient experiences and ensuring efficient operations within a fast-paced medical start-up environment. The role offers structured pay raises every six months and emphasizes a supportive work/life balance.

Responsibilities

• Providing top quality patient experience and customer service
• Answering incoming patient calls in a professional and courteous manner
• Completing appointment booking requests via website and Doctoroo app
• Recording and verifying patient demographics
• Verifying different Nevada based insurance payers
• Dispatching medical teams to patients' homes and/or medical facilities
• Using equipment such as iPads and iPhones confidently

Requirements

• Experience as a medical receptionist or in a medical administration role required
• Strong knowledge of Nevada health insurance policies - eligibility, co-pays and deductibles
• Working knowledge of medical terminology
• Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude
• Strong writing/computer skills
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importance
• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
• Must be flexible with schedule, having availability to work days or evenings & some holidays/weekends as needed
• Background check

Nice-to-haves

• 2+ years' medical receptionist experience
• 2+ years' customer service experience
• MA License / MA experience
• Bilingual preferred
