About the position

As a Medical Receptionist at ATI Physical Therapy, you will play a crucial role in the operational outcomes of our clinics. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the front office point of contact for our business ancillary service locations, ensuring timely and accurate responses to client requests. This position is integral to providing world-class patient care, as you will be the first point of contact for patients, creating a lasting first impression while utilizing your healthcare administration skills. You will be involved in various administrative functions, including patient intake, scheduling, referral management, and maintaining open communication with clinic teams. In this role, you will manage the front desk operations through excellent customer service, demonstrating the ability to multitask effectively, including working in two simultaneous practice management systems. You will facilitate patient scheduling, manage the intake and check-in processes, and ensure that benefit verifications are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that charges and documentation are completed promptly and delivered to clients, as well as collecting point-of-service payments such as copays. You will also keep the clinic stocked appropriately as needed. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the front office point of contact for business ancillary service locations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate responses to client requests.
  • Manage front desk operations through excellent customer service.

  • Complete benefit verifications timely and accurately.
  • Ensure charges and documentation are completed timely and delivered to the client.
  • Collect point of service payments (e.g., copay).
  • Keep the clinic stocked appropriately as needed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma and 1 or more years in an administrative position.
  • Previous health care office experience preferred.
  • Experience in medical billing and coding preferred.
  • Knowledge of benefit verification and authorization.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual language skills in some clinics preferred.
