About the position

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist who is Bilingual in Spanish to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a proactive attitude, capable of multitasking and staying organized in a fast-paced environment. The Medical Receptionist will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients and visitors feel welcomed and cared for from the moment they enter our facility. The Medical Receptionist will greet patients and visitors warmly, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional service. This position involves communicating effectively with referring physicians, patients, and other stakeholders via telephone to provide information, answer questions, schedule appointments, and manage call-backs. Additionally, the Medical Receptionist will be responsible for completing the patient admission process accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all necessary information is collected and recorded. Maintaining the business office inventory and medical supplies is also a key responsibility of this role. The Medical Receptionist will regularly check stock levels to determine inventory needs and ensure that the office is well-equipped to serve our patients. This position offers flexibility, with options for full-time, part-time, or contract work, and is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Basic knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records
  • Customer service experience of at least 1 year (Preferred)
  • Experience with medical terminology of at least 1 year (Preferred)
  • Computer skills of at least 1 year (Preferred)
