About The Position
We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant for a large healthcare network located in Marlton, NJ. This is a fully onsite position with working hours from Monday to Thursday, 7:45 AM to 5:15 PM, and Friday from 7:45 AM to 12 PM, with every third Friday requiring an extended shift until 3 PM. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for obtaining vital signs and medical history from patients, greeting and chaperoning patients during their visits, maintaining medical documentation and patient records, scheduling care, treatment, and diagnostic tests as per the physician's instructions, escorting patients to exam rooms, and preparing them for examination. Additional duties include disinfecting and cleaning treatment rooms, taking telephone messages, ensuring patient confidentiality, and providing safe patient care while collecting assessment data about patients' needs.
