About the position

The Medical Records Coordinator is responsible for managing and extracting medical records for various departments within the company. This role involves handling IDX requests, utilizing the ETM System, and responding to claims or insurance requests. The position requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work flexibly in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Completes medical records requests from the ETM system for insurance companies and various departments.
  • Access hospital websites to print records for requests.
  • Print records from Onbase Scanning.
  • Return completed requests to the requestor, attaching necessary forms or submitting claims.
  • Maintain a daily log of requests and completions.
  • Perform other responsibilities as requested by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least six months of experience working with insurance in an office or hospital environment is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Computer experience is essential, including navigating hospital sites and using Excel.
  • Ability to stay focused and complete assignments.
