About The Position

As a Medical Records Specialist, you will answer telephones, greet visitors, and track ingress of visitors for safety purposes. You will ensure that members served information, enrollment, disenrollment, eligibility information, outcome data, billing, and other pertinent information is inputted within specified time limits. You will utilize and manage all program outcome databases and Electronic Health Record (EHR), including service billing. Additionally, you will maintain detailed records of documentation and assessment review, perform data validation and quality control checks by reviewing EHR(s) reports and other documentation platforms as required, and utilize data sources to identify programmatic needs and/or compliance. You will also provide data management and analysis of outcome measures and other contract measures, and conduct outreach and reminder calls to potential and current members; assist with program capacity building.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED required.
  • 1+ years of administrative support experience.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of demonstrated organization skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including intermediate skills with MS Office and Excel.
  • Ability to pass criminal/background clearance.
  • Ability to navigate stairs as the program is housed in a two-story building without an elevator.
