About The Position

The Medical Records position at Robert Half in Tucson, Arizona, is a short-term contract role focused on the maintenance and support of computer hardware and software systems. The individual will be responsible for providing technical support, managing documentation and inventory, and ensuring the efficient operation of medical records systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience with VMware Technologies
  • Knowledge of basic network troubleshooting
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to health information management standards
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of patient records
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy of medical records
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high quality of work
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or a related field is preferred
  • Certification as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient and accurate configuration and maintenance of computers and related equipment.
  • Handle technical issues and provide solutions to hardware and software problems.
  • Update and maintain computer hardware and software systems regularly.
  • Document all computer hardware and manage inventory effectively.
  • Offer technical support to users either in-person or over the phone.
  • Ensure quick response and resolution to requests for assistance.
  • Prioritize issues or requests effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members as necessary to address issues or requests.
  • Offer suitable workarounds when possible and document resolutions.
  • Develop and maintain efficient workflows and procedures to enhance work processes.
  • Take responsibility for assigned duties, projects, and goals.
  • Use Microsoft Office 365, VMware Technologies, and Basic Network Troubleshooting skills to improve user experience.
