About the position

Vision Technology Incorporated (VTI) is seeking a motivated and outgoing Medical Recruiter to support our Ft Sam Houston contract located in San Antonio, TX. This full-time position is essential for building our medical personnel and will require the recruiter to be onsite, with the possibility of telework. The primary focus of this role will be on recruiting medical professionals, although there will also be opportunities to recruit for non-medical roles. In this position, you will collaborate closely with our Executive Team to develop effective strategies for attracting quality talent. Your responsibilities will include screening candidates' qualifications, placing them in appropriate roles within the organization, and participating in salary and benefits negotiations when necessary. Additionally, you will maintain an active database of potential hires and ensure compliance with all governmental regulations regarding hiring practices. This role is crucial in ensuring that VTI continues to provide valuable services to our country while being good stewards of taxpayer money.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Executive Team to create effective strategies for attracting quality talent
  • Utilize online resources, such as social media, as well as traditional job placement sources to find candidates
  • Screen candidates to narrow the field for specific job openings
  • Forward the information of potential hires to the appropriate department manager
  • Help with salary and benefits negotiations
  • Keep accurate records on candidates and the processes followed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or related field
  • At least 3 years of medical recruiting experience
  • Ability to work with Staffing Agencies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
  • Ability to work on a self-initiated basis
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple positions while meeting deadlines
  • Efficient, detail oriented, with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Premium customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Recruitment experience in the Government Contracting Industry
  • Minimum 1 year experience working with different levels of security clearance jobs
