About the position

The Medical Sales Territory Representative is responsible for selling cutting-edge dental supplies and equipment to dental practices, including general practice dentists and periodontists. This role involves developing business relationships, delivering product presentations, and achieving sales goals while ensuring consistent coverage of the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Call on General Practice Dentist and Periodontist practices in the Dental Sales Representative territory.
  • Plan and organize activities to ensure regular and consistent coverage of the territory based on customer needs.
  • Develop business relationships within targeted Dental Practitioners and achieve designated call expectations.
  • Deliver scientific product presentations outlining products, features, benefits, and services.
  • Engage in meaningful dialogue with dental healthcare professionals to understand their needs and how products can address them.
  • Follow up on sales leads and meet with customers to assess their needs and recommend suitable products.
  • Create sales plans to target new clients and maintain positive business relationships.
  • Perform sales calls and other duties aimed at achieving sales goals.
  • Keep an active sales funnel and coordinate sales efforts with team members.
  • Analyze the territory/market's potential, track sales, and provide status reports.
