About the position

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Hematology at Bristol-Myers Squibb serves as a clinical and scientific advisor, engaging with healthcare professionals (HCPs) to provide insights and support for the safe and effective use of BMS medicines. This role focuses on pre- and peri-launch activities, ensuring that the medical community is informed about BMS products and addressing scientific inquiries. The MSL will spend significant time in the field, collaborating with external stakeholders and supporting internal teams while maintaining a high level of therapeutic expertise in hematology.

Responsibilities

• Engage in scientific dialogue with thought leaders to develop a focused medical plan for product launches.
• Collaborate with medical societies and patient advocacy groups to enhance medical engagement.
• Provide real-time medical support to HCPs during face-to-face interactions and through virtual capabilities.
• Document and achieve annual goals while leveraging digital tools for enhanced engagement.
• Support clinical trial feasibility assessments and patient recruitment efforts.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacovigilance procedures and report adverse events.

Requirements

• MD, DO, PharmD, DNP, or PhD required.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical or research experience in hematology or as a medical science liaison in lymphoma or multiple myeloma.
• Strong communication, presentation, and time management skills.
• Current knowledge of US legal, regulatory, and compliance guidelines relevant to healthcare interactions.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in cell therapy is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with clinical trial design and methodology.
