About the position

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Hematology at Bristol-Myers Squibb serves as a clinical and scientific advisor, engaging with healthcare professionals (HCPs) to provide insights and information about BMS medicines. This field-based role focuses on pre- and peri-launch activities, ensuring that the medical community is informed about the safe and effective use of BMS products. The MSL will also support clinical trials and engage with key thought leaders to facilitate patient access to innovative therapies.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in scientific dialogue with thought leaders to develop a focused medical plan for product launches.
  • Collaborate with medical societies and patient advocacy groups to enhance medical engagement.
  • Provide real-time medical support to HCPs during face-to-face interactions and through virtual capabilities.
  • Document and achieve annual goals related to medical engagement and clinical trial support.
  • Liaise with clinical trial investigators to facilitate patient recruitment and address clinical barriers.

Requirements

  • MD, DO, PharmD, DNP, or PhD required.
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical or research experience in hematology or as a medical science liaison in lymphoma or multiple myeloma.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and time management skills.
  • Current knowledge of US legal, regulatory, and compliance guidelines relevant to healthcare interactions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in cell therapy is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to translate scientific data into understandable information for HCPs.
  • Proven ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
