About the position

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Hematology at Bristol-Myers Squibb serves as a clinical and scientific advisor, engaging with healthcare professionals (HCPs) to provide insights and information about BMS medicines. This role focuses on pre- and peri-launch activities, ensuring that the medical community is informed about the safe and effective use of BMS products. The MSL will spend significant time in the field, collaborating with external stakeholders and supporting internal teams while maintaining a high level of therapeutic expertise in hematology.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in scientific dialogue with thought leaders to develop a focused medical plan for product launches.
  • Collaborate with medical societies and patient advocacy groups to enhance medical engagement.
  • Provide real-time medical support to HCPs for unsolicited questions during face-to-face interactions and through virtual capabilities.
  • Develop connections with key thought leaders through high-quality peer-to-peer scientific dialogue.
  • Document and achieve annual goals related to medical engagement and insights.

Requirements

  • MD, DO, PharmD, DNP, or PhD required.
  • Minimum 3 years clinical or research experience in hematology or as a medical science liaison in lymphoma or multiple myeloma.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and time management skills.
  • Current knowledge of US legal, regulatory, and compliance guidelines relevant to healthcare interactions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Cell therapy experience preferred.
  • Experience in clinical trial design and methodology.
