About the position

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Hematology at Bristol-Myers Squibb plays a crucial role in capturing medical insights and acting as a clinical and scientific advisor to cross-functional partners. This field-based position focuses on engaging with healthcare professionals (HCPs) to ensure they are informed about the safe and effective use of BMS medicines, particularly in the hematology domain. The MSL will be involved in pre- and peri-launch activities, educational dialogues, and addressing scientific inquiries, while also supporting clinical trials and research initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Engage in scientific dialogue with thought leaders to develop a focused medical plan for product launches.
• Collaborate with medical societies and patient advocacy groups to enhance medical engagement.
• Provide real-time medical support to HCPs during face-to-face interactions and through virtual capabilities.
• Document and achieve annual goals related to medical engagement and insights.
• Support clinical trial feasibility assessments and patient recruitment efforts.
• Lead evidence read-outs with clinical trial investigators and support interventional research studies.

Requirements

• MD, DO, PharmD, DNP, or PhD required.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical or research experience in hematology or as a medical science liaison in lymphoma or multiple myeloma.
• Strong understanding of US legal, regulatory, and compliance guidelines relevant to healthcare interactions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills.
• Ability to translate complex scientific data into understandable information for HCPs.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in cell therapy is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of clinical trial design and methodology.
