The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) at Sanofi plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the pharmaceutical company and healthcare professionals. The MSL will be responsible for building and nurturing trusted partnerships with key stakeholders in the T1D community, including healthcare professionals, payers, and institutions. In this position, the MSL will lead efforts to educate diabetologists and other medical audiences about T1D, focusing on the importance of T1D antibody screening and the latest treatment options available to delay the onset of T1D. The MSL will engage proactively with healthcare professionals to gather insights and propose actionable solutions that align with the Country Medical Plan. This role is not just about providing information; it is about fostering a collaborative environment where scientific exchange can thrive, ultimately benefiting patients and their families. The MSL will also be involved in cross-functional partnerships, collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure that the medical strategy is effectively executed. This includes identifying opportunities for scientific exchange with primary care physicians and pediatricians, as well as engaging patients through medical and advocacy channels where permitted.
