About the position

The Medical Supplies Manager at Acute Home Healthcare is responsible for overseeing the ordering, tracking, and distribution of medical supplies for patients. This role requires interaction with clinical staff and management to ensure timely supply delivery and compliance with clinical records requests. The position is essential for maintaining inventory and supporting the operational needs of the home health agency.

Responsibilities

• Ordering and tracking medical supplies for patients
• Responding to clinical records requests from attorneys and families
• Preparing supplies for orientations
• Preparing and distributing documentation folders to clinical staff for new patients
• Submitting clinical records to insurance companies as requested
• Reviewing referrals and clinical supply requests to verify needs and quantities
• Proactively maintaining supply inventory
• Preparing and providing ongoing supplies to clinical staff
• Tracking and reordering medical supplies as needed
• Maintaining complete tracking of all supply requests and distributions

Requirements

• Experience with medical supplies and electronic medical records
• At least 2 years of home health experience
• Level II fingerprint screening completed and active
• Extremely organized
• Ability to interact with in-office clinical management team and field staff
