About the position

This is a 13-week travel assignment in South San Francisco, CA, where you will work nights in a 3 X 12 hour shift schedule. The position requires a valid RN license in the state of practice and offers a chance to work collaboratively with physicians and other health team members to provide and coordinate patient care.
Responsibilities
- Communicates and collaborates with physicians and other health team members.
- Provides and coordinates patient care with other health team members.
- Monitors patients' responses to interventions and reports outcomes.
- Administers medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
- Monitors and evaluates patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit.
- Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
- Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
- Transports patients as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- One to three years experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
- Valid RN license in the state of practice.
- BLS certification required.
- Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification (RN-BC) is preferred.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
- PC skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Medical-surgical nursing experience is essential.
- Other certifications may be required for this position.
