About The Position

MS RN's care for adult patients who are acutely ill with a wide variety of medical problems and diseases or are recovering from surgery. Med Surg unit of a facility is where ill patients go to recover before being discharged. They handle large patient loads, juggle multiple patient populations, and adapt to the ever-changing face of nursing care. Although most MS RN's work in the Med Surg unit of hospitals, they can work in a variety of settings includes camps, clinics, schools, and ambulatory care centers.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Must pass the NCLEX to apply for a license as a RN.
• Must have an active state license.
• ACLS occasionally required.
• Recent experience and flexible schedule required.

Responsibilities

• Care for adult patients who are acutely ill with various medical problems and diseases.
• Assist patients recovering from surgery.
• Manage large patient loads and multiple patient populations.
• Adapt to the changing needs of nursing care.
