About the position

Performs at an advanced level in various routine or special chemical, microscopic and bacteriologic laboratory tests. The duties of a Medical Technologist Sr. may be specific to a particular area of the laboratory, such as chemistry, hematology, microbiology, or the blood bank. Also, the Medical Technologist Sr. may assist in the supervision and training of lower level Medical Technologists.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced level laboratory tests in various areas including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, or blood bank.
• Assist in the supervision and training of lower level Medical Technologists.
