About the position

The Medical Technologist in the Blood Bank is responsible for performing various laboratory procedures on a diverse patient population. This role requires adherence to safety and infection control policies while ensuring accurate and timely laboratory results.

Responsibilities

• Perform all procedures in the clinical department on a rotation basis.
• Comply with and enforce all safety and infection control policies, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a related field or completion of training in medical technology is required.
• Two years of experience in medical technology is preferred.
• ASCP certification is preferred.
