Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret analysis on patient specimens using complex laboratory techniques.
- Provide medical staff with information to aid in patient diagnosis.
- Maintain compliance with Mercy Service Standards and values in all duties and responsibilities.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.
- Utilize advanced technology and innovative procedures in laboratory practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Up to 3 years of acceptable clinical laboratory experience as a certified MLS/MT or equivalent, or certification eligible new MLS graduate.
- Current certification as MT/MLS or categorical certification through ASCP or equivalent.
