About the position

Medical Tech or Medical Lab Tech, FT, Mid shift 10am to 6:30pm Monday-Friday, in the Laboratory at St Mary's Hospital in Athens GA. Accurately performs and reports laboratory procedures to meet the needs and expectations of the physician's in providing quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs laboratory procedures
• Reports laboratory results to meet physician needs
• Ensures quality patient care through laboratory services

Requirements

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: MT/MLT (ASCP, AMT, NCA or HHS) or eligible is required
• Education: High School Diploma, B.S. in Medical Technology or Applied Sciences
• 2 years' experience and an alternate method of obtaining MT/MLT may be substituted for degree
• Prefer at least 1 year experience as Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technologist
