Responsibilities
- Perform and report laboratory testing procedures on blood and body fluids accurately.
- Contribute to the diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients through laboratory testing.
- Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan.
- Assess and interpret data reflective of the patient's status and age-specific needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a health-related field for MT; Associate degree for MLT.
- Recent graduate from an approved MLT school is the minimum experience required for MLT.
- Two to four years of experience as a medical laboratory technician preferred for MLT.
- Certification from AMT or ASCP in Medical Technology, Med Lab Science, or a related specialty required upon hire, or within 18 months of hire.
- Strong organizational skills and problem-solving capabilities.
