About The Position

Requirements

• Hold a current Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist license, with proof required before in-processing and at renewal dates.
• Be proficient in required skills, including fluency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Complete VA Information Security, VHA Privacy Policy, and Rules of Behavior training before starting work, and annually thereafter.
• Complete additional training (e.g., patient safety, infection control) within 30 days of reporting and annually thereafter.
• Complete self-study training on bloodborne pathogens, maintain vaccination records, and follow exposure protocols.
