As an Overnight Hematology Technologist, you will be a vital part of our laboratory operations.

Requirements

• NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist license
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field
• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) by ASCP or equivalent
• Able to work independently and efficiently during overnight hours
• Professional experience working in hematology
• Comfortable reading slides/ performing manual differentials

Responsibilities

• Performing critical hematology tests with precision and urgency
• Reading slides and reading the different red/white blood cell counts
• Responsible for QC being run and correct
• Validating any abnormalities from slides
• Doing urinalysis microscopy
