The Medical Technology Advanced Services Operations Coordinator at GE Healthcare is a pivotal role responsible for the real-time coordination and availability of medical devices within the client network. The primary objective of this position is to enhance clinical asset management, ensuring improved equipment availability for patient care. This role requires a proactive approach to assess and prioritize both client and internal requests, ultimately driving customer satisfaction. The Operations Coordinator will be the single point of contact for all matters related to medical device management, necessitating a strong ability to navigate changing work situations effectively. In the initial phases of the program, the Operations Coordinator will be tasked with the development and execution of standard operating procedures. This includes creating reference materials and work instructions that will guide the team in their daily operations. Continuous improvement is a key focus, and the Coordinator will regularly review and adjust procedures and processing guidelines to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Success in this role hinges on being a motivated self-starter who can collaborate effectively with both co-workers and clients across a matrixed organization. The Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining holistic visibility of medical devices across the client health system, leveraging installed real-time location systems (RTLS) for equipment tracking. They will work closely with various program areas, including asset management, disinfection, distribution, and asset disposition, to ensure a comprehensive view of equipment availability workflows. The role also involves triaging customer equipment needs, prioritizing requests based on urgency, and collaborating with service teams to track and manage medical device inventory accuracy. The Operations Coordinator will utilize various systems, including Nuvolo and Siebel, to manage work documentation and support performance tracking through dashboards and KPIs. Interaction with key stakeholders, including clinical and supply chain leadership, is frequent, and the Coordinator will guide customers through process changes while measuring results to establish sustainable mechanisms for ongoing success. This position is primarily remote but may require some on-site presence with the service team and client stakeholders.
