About the position

The Medicare Bilingual Instructional Designer & Trainer - Sales Effectiveness Advisor role focuses on enhancing the performance of Cigna's sales teams through effective training and learning solutions. This position requires a blend of instructional design and facilitation skills to create impactful learning experiences tailored to various audiences, including brokers and internal sales staff. The ideal candidate will be a change agent, passionate about measuring the impact of training programs and ensuring alignment with business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Create a variety of impactful learning solutions for diverse audiences including brokers, internal sales reps, and supervisors.
  • Conduct highly interactive training sessions for sales reps, managers, and other sales staff.
  • Coach sellers and sales managers to remove obstacles to high performance.
  • Conduct training impact assessments and demonstrate the value of training programs.
  • Leverage training data to craft interventions that close identified gaps.
  • Manage training projects from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to define learning solutions that address business priorities.
  • Stay updated with Cigna strategy, compliance, industry changes, and product enhancements.
  • Provide leadership within and outside the team to drive action and results.
  • Lead and organize meetings effectively among higher management levels.
  • Build and maintain relationships with functional areas outside the department.
  • Take decisive action on issues or problems.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
  • High school diploma required; Master's degree in Instructional Design or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in eLearning tools including Articulate Storyline and other learning technologies.
  • Outstanding facilitation skills.
  • Ability to clearly articulate product and sales material.
