About the position
This internship program is a 10-week full-time opportunity designed for students to gain real work experience within Aetna's Medicare Stars Data Intelligence team. Interns will engage in projects that contribute to the team's goals while participating in networking, development, and career exploration activities. The program aims to provide valuable insights into the healthcare industry and increase the likelihood of receiving a full-time job offer post-graduation.
Responsibilities
- Lead or contribute to projects aligned with the Medicare Stars Data Intelligence team.
- Participate in community service activities.
- Engage in professional development workshops.
- Network with senior leaders and peers.
- Document and create architectural models for innovation projects.
- Develop ETL processes and tools for data analytics.
- Assist in cloud migration projects for data architecture.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with an anticipated graduation date between September 2025 and August 2026.
- Knowledge of Cloud architecture including GCP and MS Azure.
- Experience with MSSQL Server, SSIS, Microsoft .Net Framework, ASP, Visual Studio, and/or SQL.
- Exposure to programming languages such as C#, Python, R studio.
Nice-to-haves
- Interest in obtaining a full-time position within CVS Health upon graduation.
- Knowledge of large-scale search applications and building high volume data pipelines.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in student organizations, sports, or work-related projects.
- Exposure to statistical analysis and problem-solving through professional or academic experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
