The Medication Aide-Certified position at Signature HealthCARE of Coshocton involves preparing and administering medications to residents in a skilled nursing facility. Responsibilities
- Accurately and safely prepare and administer oral and topical medications to residents
- Ensure all medication has written orders, signed, and dated from a licensed physician
- Verify identity of residents before administering any medication
- Observe medication is ingested or applied as directed
Requirements
- Current Medication Aide Certification
- Current Nursing Assistant Certification from the state
- Current/active CPR certification
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
