The Medication Line Specialist at Mindpath Health plays a crucial role in supporting patients' treatment by managing medication-related tasks. This position involves assisting providers with medication management, ensuring accurate documentation of refill requests, and addressing patient care issues through the patient portal or medication line. Responsibilities
- Perform duties required to complete the medication reconciliation process for patients
- Answer live patient calls regarding prescriptions and assist with prescription and prior authorization troubleshooting
- Process e-prescriptions refills, prescription refills received via facsimile, and oral prescriptions via Specialty Pharmacy
- Manage tasks and messages from front office and providers
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience managing prescription refill requests
- Certification as a Pharmacy Tech or Medical Assistant
- Experience in behavioral health preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and oral
